• No account or sign-up is required to use the site.
• When analytics is configured, we send manual page-view and gameplay events through PostHog to understand how the product is used. We disable autocapture and session recording.
• The former daily challenge and ranking pages are disabled. Scores submitted before their removal may remain stored, but the site no longer accepts score submissions or displays rankings.
• Your selected city, device location, or entered coordinates are remembered in local browser storage by default. Turn off remembering in the observer picker or clear the saved location in Settings. Per-page dates are also stored locally; following now stays live on the next visit. Precise coordinates are not included in shared links or sent to analytics. City search text is sent to this site to search its GeoNames index. Shared links can include a city ID, target, time, and camera direction. These preferences use local storage rather than cookies, so they are not attached to server requests.
• Phone orientation is opt-in, used only to point the local chart, and is not sent to the server or analytics.
